Water Exercise Schedule

 Twinges in the Hinges
Designed for people who have arthritis and to improve joint mobility, tone muscles and posture.

 Deep Water Exercise
A vigouous water exercise class to tone and strengthen muscles and improve cardiovascular health.  Deep water experienced swimmers only.
(Available only at the East Whittier YMCA)

 Aquanetics
An exercise program with light cardiovascular exercises designed to strengthen and tone muscles.

 Backs in Motion
A water exercise class for people with back pain.  Participants will learn exercises that have been designed to strengthen the muscles of the back, abdomen, and legs.

 Water Fitness Class                                                                        New Class
Come make some waves! This new shallow water workout will include aerobic training to strengthen your heart and lungs, muscle conditioning, using water dumbbells to strengthen your muscles, and will end with a stretch and relax phase to promote flexibility and reduce stress.  You don't need to know how to swim to participate, just get ready to move.

 Aqua Aerobics
A water exercise program that includes water walking, water aerobics, stretching and toning.  Great for beginners.

 Lap Swim
Lap swim is open to teen and adult members ages 14 and over that are safe lap swimmers.  Enjoy a stress free environment for your workout.  Please contact the YMCA for lap swim times.
