This page contains Whittier Camp Session Registration forms.
The electronic assisted forms can be completed on your computer and then printed out, requiring only a minor amount of manual writing (the completed forms must be signed and dated by hand in the locations provided). These forms require Microsoft Word to be on your computer. The entries that can be performed via your computer keyboard are shaded. Whenever possible, please use the electronic assisted forms, since the resulting printed form will be much easier to read by camp staff than the traditional handwritten fill-in forms.
The paper fill-in forms require manual writing of all information after they are printed. They are in PDF file format and thus require Adobe Acrobat Reader to view. If you don't have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer, it's free through the Adobe Acrobat Reader download web page). Instruct your browser to launch the Adobe Acrobat Reader program when it encounters a PDF file. This will call up the Acrobat Reader and thus enable you to view the camper application forms and print them).

Important guidelines concerning the above forms:
-
For paper fill-in forms, print clearly, legibly and in ENGLISH.
-
For both electronic assisted and paper fill-in forms, signatures are to be written.
- Provide COMPLETE information in each field. Fill out ALL fields (DO NOT leave any blanks) on ALL pages of each form.
- Submit a DIFFERENT, COMPLETED form for EACH camper.
- Mail completed camp registration forms and $50 per person reservation deposit to the address listed at the top of the form.
All of the above must be completed to secure a spot at camp.
Please note the following important Camp Arbolado Policies:
- Campers will not be allowed to bring cell phones. Cell phones will be taken and returned to the camp at the end of the session. Numerous problems with campers bringing cell phones (crank 911 calls, making homesickness problems worse, etc.) has made this policy necessary.
- Payments must be made in full and all registration forms must be properly completed before a camper will be allowed to go to camp.
- Alcohol, firearms, fireworks, or pets are not allowed in camp.
- For Winter Holiday, Easter and Summer camp sessions, one registration form is required for EACH camper.
- A $50 nonrefundable deposit for each camp registration form is due when the form(s) is(are) turned in.
- There is financial aid available. To be eligible, the camper will be asked to supplement this aid by selling YMCA peanuts. Any peanuts sold will go towards the camper's fees. Because scholarship moneys are limited, assignment to both levels will be based on a first come, first served basis. Contact the East Whittier YMCA Camp office ((562)943-7241) for financial aid application forms.
- Parents are expected to be on time to pick up their children. Parents should also be prepared to pick children up from camp due to emergency or inappropriate behavior.
- Children are responsible for their own luggage, money and personal articles. Any items left once all the children return from camp will be held for 2 weeks at the East Whittier YMCA, then donated to a local charity.
